Brief project description

This project is part of the Royal Decree of 25 June 2014 laying down the procedures, time limits and conditions for the reimbursement of the compulsory medical care insurance and benefits in the costs of implants and invasive medical devices. This Royal Decree links the reimbursement of medical care provided in the context of implants and invasive medical devices to registration in a computerized register. For a nominative list of benefits in kind, it is established that a reimbursement is only allowed by the RIZIV if the details of those benefits in kind are recorded by the healthcare provider in a computerized register. This is the case for pacemakers.
